I came across some cake pictures from a couple years ago, so I thought I would go ahead and put them up here. I don’t think these were ever included in the couple’s album. These were taken at Confluence Park in Columbus, Ohio. I am not sure who did the cake, but I think it is a good mix of traditional and modern designs.
Cheers!

It’s beautiful but…..what did it TASTE like? I was always had the impression that cakes that pretty didn’t taste very good. Am I wrong?
After trying hundreds of wedding cakes, I have to agree that *most* don’t taste very good. To be honest, I don’t remember trying this one. But wedding cakes are very tricky things. You can have one that doesn’t look to good but tastes great; and on the other hand, you can have one that looks great and doesn’t rate so highly on the palatability scale. Also, the cost of the cake usually has little bearing on the taste as well.
In central Ohio, the person making the best looking cakes also has the best tasting cakes. Yes, she does break the mold (please hold back the groans!). That is Jan Kisch at La Petit Fleur. Recently she has been receiving a lot of national attention which she wholly deserves. You can check out here artistry at:
